I am a retired science teacher. I am totally self-taught with WordPress and maintain or add posts to sites for several local nonprofit organizations. One thing I’ve discovered – it’s pretty hard to break it unless you mess with the code.

I’m a co-owner of Southwest Cyberport, a local full service Internet Provider, and I run a coworking space, Ideas and Coffee. I’ve been working with WordPress for about six years now and find it a great platform for simple and complex projects. It’s fun to work with and there is always more to learn, no matter what your level is.

I’m a Happiness Engineer at Automattic, the folks who make WordPress.com, WooCommerce, Jetpack, and more. I’ve been involved with the Albuquerque WordPress community since 2011 and was involved in organizing WCABQ2011, WCABQ2012, and WCABQ2013. I’m excited to see the WordPress community come together for this latest edition of WCABQ.
