Keeping it small this year

cats-205606_640We decided to have a small WordCamp this year. We chose a small venue and we’re keeping the number of attendees limited to 100, including speakers and volunteers.  We want to bring content to people who are actively working with WordPress and hope this will create a focused experience. Our audience is intermediate level users who have an understanding of what WordPress is, but want to dig a little deeper into what is available to help them build amazing websites. And we hope to have presentations on where WordPress is going.

If you have some ideas for a presentation, would like to help with WordCamp or  would like to be a speaker, please contact us. We want to make this your WordCamp!

  1. Excited about this and looking forward to my first Wordcamp. When will tickets be available, or if they are, we do I get them?

  2. I’m looking forward to my first WordCamp as well – I’m a Word Press newbie, although I did manage my website elsewhere and I’m pretty computer savvy in general. Will this be over my head since it’s for “intermediate users?”

    • This WordCamp might be great for you if you are looking to level up your WordPress knowledge. It really depends on what your goals are. You can also stay tuned and watch as we announce speakers and presentation topics to see if you’re interested in any of those.

    • I am never really sure what Beginner ends and Intermediate begins. Just the familiarity of using themes, plugins, child themes, etc are. But, it is always a lot more fun learning with more people and making those connections then just spending hours and hours reading articles and watch Tuts online.
